Located in Northwest Austin off of Parmer Lane and McNeil Road, Milwood, Section 12-17, is a neighborhood with almost 750 homes.  Development of the area started in the mid 80s and the builder for the area was primarily Bill Milburn Homes.  Milwood homes in Sections 12-17 are exemplified by relatively modest square footages (900-1,300 square feet) and equivalently modest prices for the area ($100,000-$150,000), and the area has convenient access to many major roadways and employers as well as shopping and dining.  One section of homes are on smaller lots while another section is on more conventional lot sizes for the time.  Large oak trees are abundant in the neighborhood.
