Get to Know You/View Your Home
Taking the time to talk or meet you before completing a Broker’s Price Opinion / Comparative Market Analysis on your home helps me to learn and understand your interests, motivations and needs for the sale. It also helps us to set mutual expectations so that we can work together with common purpose and goals. It is at this time that I like to discuss the process of the home purchase and the nuances of what is involved in a real estate transaction. The more information you have at the beginning, the less stressful the process will be when it comes time to negotiate a contract.
After meeting with you and understanding your needs I will then view your home. I actually prefer to have you show me your home and tell me what features drew you to it. During this time I will also make notes regarding your home. This will allow me to make the BPO/CMA as true a reflection of market price as I perceive it.
